  •  LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) site from Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt, M.D., a Swedish physician and leading expert in Low Carb High Fat (LCHF) uses a whole-food dietary approach to reverse obesity and T2 diabetes, as well as improving overall health. In addition to terrific free content that’s presented in a simple, straightforward manner, there is a membership-only portion of the site with great additional educational resources. Laura and Deb are both members and find the information and resources valuable.

  •  Dr. Jason Fung, M.D., Canadian physican/nephrologist, is the Medical Director of the Toronto-based IDM Program which focuses on treating the spectrum of metabolic syndrome disorders. He takes a primarily dietary approach using intermittent fasting (IF) and LCHF to address the underlying cause — insulin resistance. His blog and video lecture series are detailed, but fascinating, and he has a knack for presenting medical information in a way that is easy to understand. Dr. Fung is one of the leading experts on IF, which is a major tool in reversing insulin resistance and it’s many consequences, including obseity, T2 diabetes, fatty liver disease, heart disease, kidney disease, and possibly even some forms of dementia and cancer.
